T/SGT Leonard P. Altic

T/SGT Leonard Paul “Hap or Happy” Altic died on 3 August 1945.  T/SGT Altic was assigned to the 54th Ordnance Bomb Disposal Squad (Separate), Third Army, which was located in Germany.  T/SGT Altic died from burns he received on 2 August 1945, in a bomb disposal accident.  He passed away in a Evacuation Hospital in Erlangen, Germany.  Medals:  Medals:  Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Europe-Africa-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal World War II, Army of Occupation – Europe Medal, and the Victory Medal World War II.
