A1C Dustin W. Olson

7/12/1994

While assigned to the 649th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hill AFB, UT, SrA Olson perished in a vehicle accident performing EOD duties. He was in route to observe the effectiveness of air delivered submunition on a test target on the Utah Test and Training Range. A1C Olson leaves behind his loving wife Jennifer, his daughter Taylor and son Joshua. SrA Olson is laid to rest in Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, OK.

    I was on the same team as Dustin at Hill AFB. I was on leave at the time or I would have been at UTTR that day.
