Gunner’s Mate First Class Thomas Bradley Keene, United States Navy, was captured by the Japanese while serving in Guam, after the fall of Corregidor, Philippine Islands, on 6 May 1942, and was held as a Prisoner of War until his death while still in captivity.
Thomas’ capture was first reported to the International Committee of the Red Cross on May 7, 1942, and the last report was made on February 10, 1943. Based on these two reports, Thomas was imprisoned for at least 279 days (~10 months). Exact date of death is unknown.
