EOD Flag Program
The EOD Flag Program will create a memorial to honor and remember all deceased EOD Technicians, regardless of years of service, branch, or cause of death. This will not change the EOD Memorial or EOD Memorial Ceremony held on the first Saturday of May, where the entire community honors the 344 EOD Technicians killed in action.
It is our goal to have a flag placed on every EOD grave throughout the summer and by Veterans Day every year.
EOD Virtual CEMETERY
Thanks to the efforts of community volunteers and Mike Vining, the EOD Virtual Cemetery was created. This registry hopes to honor all EOD Techs and currently lists the names of over 1,000 Technicians. To view the

Placing the Flag
Once you have signed up, the EODWF staff will send you a flag with instructions and information. You are welcome to place the flag at your convenience. If you are so inclined, we invite you to take a photo of your flag and send it to us!
a Very Special Thank you
We extend a very special thank you to Crescent City Charities for providing funding for this incredibly important program in 2021 and 2022! Thank you for allowing us to fulfill our goal of honoring and remembering all EOD Technicians who have served our great nation.
